    As the Technical Lead for the Passenger Revenue Accounting application I am responsible for the overall health and performance of the application. I work with my SAP Basis Technical Lead and our vendor to plan upgrades, performance improvements and other system development efforts on the platform(s) [SAP NetWeaver and SAP PI/PO] to keep them performing as expected and up to date from a software perspective. We perform 1 or 2 Sirax release upgrades per year and minimal monthly deployments to keep the code stable and minimize Business testing demands. We currently have 2 Development, 4 QA and 1 Pre-Production system all hosted on site in Dallas at the Southwest Airlines Data Center.Currently working on replacing our SAP PO system with functionality in Integration Suite within the BTP Cloud Environment. Experienced with SAP Cloud Connector and migration of PO artifacts into the Integration Suite Environment. Migrating from an on premise Tibco JMS xml messaging flow to a Confluent Kafka Avro/json messaging flow. Evaluating migration options to maintain current functionality to reduce re-testing and certification efforts.

    Senior Developer in the Passenger Revenue Accounting Technology group at Southwest Airlines. We host a Lufthansa Systems (LSY) developed SAP application (Sirax) that performs all of our Revenue Accounting and Credit Card Settlement. This application is the system of record for passenger ticket (and EMD) sales and usages/lifts for all of Southwest Airlines Passenger Revenue (Domestic and International). Sirax calculates revenue, Air Traffic Liability, Domestic and International Taxes and other financial information (earnings and liabilities) and sends it to SAP Financial system for reporting. Sirax also settles all of our Credit Card sales information with our providers on a daily basis to maintain cash flow for our operations. Developed a new "near real-time" xml based interface (that utilizes Amadeus' new SalesDataFeed schema) and an ABAP Proxy for a message based Sales data feed via JMS for all of our Sales, Exchanges and Refunds. This new interface is handling all of our Sales since we completed our transition to Amadeus' Altea Reservations System. The processing code in Sirax pulls the data directly from the message tables (instead of creating BSP files) and results in much higher throughput than the prior model, allowing processing of around 200,000 msgs/hr. Worked directly with Lufthansa Systems to define, design, develop, test and deploy the software.
