CurrentAs Night Drilling Foreman, experience focuses on extended horizontal drilling of Bakken and Three Forks targets in North Dakota.Well versed in drilling optimization of: mud systems (non-dispersed and dispersed WBM, OBM), solids control (dryer shakers, VDU’s, centrifuges), cement design (conventional and N2 foam), casing design, directional planning (horizontal wells, multi-well pads, anti-collision, T&D modeling), BHA design (motor failure QAQC, tubular inspections), bit selection and redesign, wellbore steering (various MWD/LWD packages, rotary steerable systems (RSS), geosteering methodology, mud log interpretation), drilling parameter road mapping, location construction and permitting, and waste stream analysis.Field experience includes: fostering the core value of safety through leading pre-tour / pre-job safety meetings and JSA’s, streamlined coordination of equipment, material, and personnel, real-time drilling parameter optimization, running and cementing casing, WellView reporting, rental tracking, invoicing, equipment inspection and maintenance, performance tracking, troubleshooting/minimizing NPT events, and well control.
