Currently the site head of Quality. In this role I am primarily focused on site-shutdown activities including responsibility for laboratory transition, GMP warehouse, and ultimate transfer of raw materials and GMP products and reagents to alternate locations in the Amgen network. Prior to May of 2015, I was responsible for day to day operations in Quality Control for multiple functional areas including microbiology, chromatography, electrophoresis, immunoassay, bioassay, raw material testing, chemistry, sample management, investigations, stability, and method validations and transfers. Member of the Quality Leadership team with shared oversight of area budgets, resources, compliance, project governance, strategic objectives, and goals.

I've held a variety of positions within QC. I was responsible for all analytical method transfers to support international expansion to emerging markets and internal Amgen technology transfers (Amgen Method Transfer Center of Excellence), department metrics and resource models, department training, and liason between QC and Product Quality organization. I've directly managed the Microbiology function, Cell Biology function, Immunoassay function, Biochemistry function, and the satellite QC laboratories at the LakeCentre facility.
