These services were utilized by most of our web based applications including several of our top 20 projects and were responsible for processing hundreds of millions of transactions per year. These components were also built upon the Enterprise Application Frameworks and provided reusability and consistency across our inventory of applications.Given the critical nature of this software, quality assurance was of utmost importance. I ensured that suites of unit tests were written using the JUnit framework which became our standard for test-driven development.
