Active DOD Secret ClearanceIT-1 (NACLC) DOD Public Trust Currently responsible for multiple programs (management of financials and deliverables) for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Document Services, the Iowa Department of Transportation, and ExxonMobil Syncrude (Canada). Notable accomplishments: (1) Led the hardware and software refresh and virtualization (VMware) effort for a worldwide document management system, the Electronic Document Management Service (EDMS) used by the Department of Defense (DLA Distribution) to digitally (paperless) track material purchase and movement to military bases worldwide using internally developed scanner software, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and automated workflow. (2) Led the design, development and implementation of the US Postal Services EEO Data System. Using e.POWER, a Northrop Grumman developed business process software, modeled the USPS business processes. (3) Managed and guided the implementation of a DOD wide Travel Pay System (TPS) using e.POWER and the Kofax Transformation Module (KTM) software for the DFAS travel Pay Office (4) Supervised the team responsible for the Corporate Enterprise Document Management System (CEDMS); assisted in the delivery of the CEDMS release 3.0, led a lean/Six Sigma process improvement initiative to improve support turnaround times, produced metrics reports to the team to assist in pinpointing areas of improvement and bolster internal controls; and helped expand the program to better meet DFAS’ needs; (5) as Agile Product Manager of e.POWER Change Management Edition (CME). Worked with state and commercial customers to define user stories and create backlog items for the Agile Development team assisted the scrum master during the sprint process.

Responsible for overall IT Architecture for the company. Led the design and development of the company’s first Datawarehouse and was the evangelist for the new service oriented Architecture, moving the company from a primarily older Microsoft based architecture to Unix/Linux, Oracle, JAVA J2EE technology.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & MANAGEMENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Oversaw Architecture, both Datawarehouse and Application based. • Led the overall enterprise strategy for Sunrise, brought in and managed senior resources to establish an Enterprise Datawarehouse strategy to support business objective of doubling company size by 2010• Contracted with Intelligent Solutions (Claudia Imhoff) to develop a roadmap for Sunrise to implement a corporate Information Factory.• Led the effort to evaluate and implement a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform for true enterprise application development. Evaluated 3 vendors: BEA (Weblogic suite), IBM (Websphere suite), and Oracle (SOA Suite). Developed evaluation criteria, tasked the vendors, and led the team to the final decision, Oracle SOA suite and IBM data tools (Datastage/Information Server).• Assisted new executive management team with development of Technology Organization to meet aggressive business growth goals (doubling size by 2007).
