Managed the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of over 200 pieces of equipment in a light manufacturing environment. Overseen the plants CMMS to maximize maintenance efforts, track KPI's, budget and utilize reporting functions to keep leadership informed of the overall readiness. Lead a team of 7 technicians in support of all bldg and facilities and equipment maintenance. Implemented processes to reduce breakdowns, increase uptime and increase the reliability centered maintenance aspect.

Lafayette, Indiana Area

Managed 2 locations consisting of approximately 60 fleet and support vehicles, 6 Technicians, and 2 Welders. Prepared and analyzed reports to identify trends and issues involving fleet maintenance. Tracked costs to ensure shops are operating efficiently and meeting financial goals with weekly, monthly and quarterly budget forecasting. Responsible for managing all aspects of scheduling maintenance activities including: PDI’s of new equipment, services and repairs, opening and closing work orders, customer purchase orders and part procurement. Involved in the process of interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring new technicians. Worked closely with management teams to create and implement processes for continuous fleet improvements. Implemented new process for tracking uncorrected faults, resulting in less down time of equipment.

Fort Drum, Ny

Managed and tracked the daily status of vehicles and equipment to ensure continuous support is provided to meet the organization’s intent; compiled service status and tracked fleet readiness. Provided daily oversight and ordering of all repair parts to determine compliance with safety standards, reduce deficiencies, and address budget constraints to conserve funds and minimize repair costs. Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate tasks to upwards of 150 employees to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance.

Peoria, Illinois Area

Responsible for the training, development, and accession of Future Soldiers in support of the Army’s recruiting mission. Prepared recruits through physical training and team building programs.

Multiple Locations

Served as the Senior Maintenance Supervisor providing maintenance support for vehicles, power generation, electronic communications security, and fuel/electrical equipment. Managed shop operations and coordinated with supported units to ensure quality service was rendered, while maintaining 100% accountability of government facilities and equipment valued at $8 million. Established a Quality Assurance program by conducting over 6,000 inspections and quick response repairs resulting in a 99% readiness rate, exceeding the Department of the Army standards by 9%. Redirected the welding section operations process; re-fabrication of over 600 existing fragmental kits to increase the impact sustainability resulting in a decrease of injuries and lives lost in a combat environment.
