Psychometrician
Leads all assessment and accountability-related psychometric research projects. Includes the use of open-ended response items and a variety of grades and subjects, the design and development of performance tasks, and the design and implementation of a new formative assessment system that the GADOE develops. Ensures quality control of psychometric components of Clayton County Public Schools, assessments, including summative and localassessments. Works closely with content coordinators to improve and expand current assessmentsand lead work on realigning assessments to the Standards. Develops test-related surveys andstudies. Manages timelines, consultants, and document processes for all psychometric and technicalrequirements for the large-scale assessment program in Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS).Data Analysis: Plans, coordinates and performs statistical analysis on all new and existingassessment programs and projects piloted and implemented in CCPS. Where applicable,incorporates testing innovations including Rasch measurement, 3 PL item response theory,response-time analyses, and adaptive testing. Writes technical reports in easy-to-understandlanguage for the CCPS audience that synthesizes how technical requirements will impactprogrammatic decisions.
