The app caters for timesheets, completion of checklists, asset management, photo and signature capture and details of parts in the completion of the work.My passion for over 25 years’ is developing and implementing software for operational excellence including quality, environmental, health & safety and energy management systems.My current role as General Manager of Arantico, a leading software development company specializing in field based mobile solutions delivered as a cost effective software as a service, providing both off the shelf and bespoke solutions to our customers.In 2004, I co-founded Enerit, to harness my skills in software development, ISO management system standards (9001, 14001, 50001, 45001) and energy management to deliver the world first energy management system SaaS software. Startup experience includes strategy, operational and financial management, market/business development, program management, and technical and management system consulting.I have worked with commercial, industrial and public sector organisations, including Arjo Wiggins, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, DuPont, Danisco, DHL, Heineken, Irish Aviation Authority, AIB, Standard Bank South Africa, An Garda Siochana (Irish Police Force), Kerry Group and Grand City Hotels.As a member of the ISO committee developed and updated the ISO 5000x energy management systems standards.With a 1st Honours Degree and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from NUI Galway and a Certified Energy Manager (CEMI), my expertise includes energy audits and measurement &verification of energy saving projects.R&D experience includes high value European projects (H2020, FP7). Recent projects (HIT2GAP, CASCADE, VERYSchool) focused on ICT solutions for energy efficiency in buildings from schools to airports in partnership with prestigious organisations throughout Europe to deliver state-of-the art solutions.I have published papers, including delivery and facilitation at conference workshops and university lectures on energy and ISO management systems.
