Key executive officer responsible for overall operations of the bank holding company. Team with the board of directors and executive officers to develop strategic, profit and capital adequacy plans that address credit, economic, and regulatory risk while positioning the organization to achieve future growth goals. Oversight of accounting and finance, operations and compliance, information technology, retail banking, and human resources. Hands on management of operations, vendor relationships, contract negotiation, IT infrastructure, audit and regulatory compliance programs. Responsible for evaluating and re-engineering organizational structure and processes to support strategic plan and gain efficiency. Develop and implement budgetary practices which successfully minimize overhead costs while maintaining customer service and an appropriate control environment. Support SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and residential custom home construction lending programs. Evaluate acquisition opportunities and lead due diligence efforts. Liaison to regulators, auditors, and shareholders. Recruit, mentor, and develop team to promote client retention and employee satisfaction. Lead asset/liability management committee, interest rate risk, pricing, and risk management efforts for the organization, and participate in Loan Committee. Serve as a member of Audit, Asset-Liability, Strategic Planning, Information Technology, and Nominating Executive Board Committees.
