This was a hands on role as financial Controller/manager for a small diversified local charity in the disability sector. During my time I implemented production and inventory reporting for it's manufacturing arms Pacific CoPack and Central Coast Laundry and developed more intuitive Board and management reporting. The work was diverse covering everything from banking, reporting, accounts payable, receivables, cash flow and payroll. I completed statutory reporting and BAS Owing to the probable impacts with the introduction of the Disability Insurance Scheme, Fairhaven was forced to down size

This was a long term assignment which developed into a Financial Controllers role. It involved the financial control, reporting, budgeting and analysis of the Australian Filtration Textile business and supervision of a small team. The Consolidated Global group included Australia, China, Mexico and Brazil. During divestiture by Albany Intl to private equity owners of this business in 2008 I provided due diligence data During my time at Albany I travelled extensively to China to establish, train and support new manufacturing and accounting operations. I also undertook Six Sigma champion training in Guangzhou China and was a member of several international SAP implementation teams. I provided the senior executive team with analysis and strategic advice aimed at improving the quality of decision making in regards to sales, marketing and manufacturing functions. I left this position at the prompting of the retired Albany CEO who was also then chairman of the charity Fairhaven.

During my 21 year career in 3M Finance, I held positions of increasing responsibility culminating in the management of the Financial Accounting and Fixed Asset/Property functions. I was a key member of Global Peoplesoft Y2K Accounting implementation team and holder of 3M Senior Financial Specialist designation. I prepared the statutory accounts for 3M on several occasions and in my days in management accounting was responsible for countless budgets and business analysis.
