Revolution of Kitten is a software development company in Cebu City, Philippines specializing in applications for Robots and Artificial Intelligence. As program manager I lead teams of computer engineers in creating applications for Robots and AI.My engineers have created a system to allow ALS patients to communicate better using the Pepper robot, and a system for the Nao robot to instruct in locomotive prevention gymnastics.

I managed the I.T. Department of a chain of water refilling stations.

I was the I.T. Manager of a web site outsourcing service for Europeancountries, primarily France and Germany. I managed both internal and externalcontractor teams of web developers as well as system administrators andproject leaders. I oversaw projects specifications, development, anddeployment. I also created department guidelines and processes for workflowand continuous quality improvement.

I started this job as a client/server software specialist, but over time this evolvedinto an administrative position. In this capacity I analyzed, designed, selected,implemented, and administered the company's Document Management System.This system comprised a worldwide on-line technical records library with overone terabyte of data. The data was primarily Federal Aviation Authoritycertification documents for airline parts that were required in order for the partsto be sold. For this reason the system had to be on-line twenty-four hours a dayseven days a week, with secondary backup systems in case of hardwarefailures or natural disasters.In my final two years with Volvo the company migrated its computer database toSAP, a comprehensive inventory and control system used by many largecorporations all over the world. It was my responsibility to handle the documentimaging system migration to this product. I managed vendors, contracts,consultants, hardware specialist, and network specialist in this capacity. Mymodule was the only one that was completed on time and on budget.During my ten years at Volvo I also served as third level support for the in houseHelp Desk. It was my task to resolve user issues that the lower tiers of supportcould not.

My responsibilities included the maintenance and enhancement of the company's claim payment system. This system comprised well over one million lines of computer code that had been developed by various programmers over many years. When a medical claim was paid incorrectly it was my responsibility to track down the error and correct it. I also worked with client/server development for medical center systems, and automation of medical records storage and retrieval.

My responsibilities were primarily to develop and manage the company's automated electronic claimssubmission systems. This required learning and implementing U.S. government specifications andworking with our outside clients to ensure the system worked properly.

In this, my first job after graduating university, I was a programmer working onthe company's health care management and billing product. I also performedmany other task including system backups, running cable and setting uphardware, and training clients.
