325 WESTLAKE PROJECTProject SuperintendentThis renovation project in the heart of South Lake Union included a six story steel structure addition consisting of 12 lofted apartments with views South Lake Union and Seattle Center. The project salvaged and re-purposed materials from the site maintaining the feel of early 1900’s construction with a modern design and high-end finishes of the apartments, art studio and artiest workshop. CHIHULY GARDEN & GLASS EXHIBIT Project Superintendent Chihuly Garden and Glass is a museum in the Seattle Center showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. The museum opened May 21, 2012 at the Seattle Center at the former site of the Fun Forest. The project includes three primary components: the Garden, the Glasshouse (a one of a kind 43’ tall glass structure), and 9 Interior Exhibits including the Collections café, a multi-use theater and lecture space, retail and lobby spaces, including extensive public site enhancements beyond the Garden. The installation in the Glasshouse is an expansive 100-foot long sculpture and is one of Chihuly’s largest suspended sculptures. The facility was awarded LEED silver certification from the USGBC and was completed in 9 months, 3 weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. Awards:Finalist, NAIOP Night of the Stars 2012 Community Impact of the YearNUANCE COMMUNICATION Project SuperintendentThe project consisted of a complete build out of 46,000 square feet of Class "A" office space from a recently completed cold shell. The work included design/build mechanical, electrical and communications systems with a total project duration of seven weeks.
