Responsibilities include overseeing and training a staff of twenty-three employees, customer relations, scheduling and ensuring that drivers adhere to safety rules and regulations. Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters for over a dozen accounts. Overseeing customer account management and negotiating contracts.

Oversaw more than 2,000 accounts. This position mainly consists of contacting the customer leads and making sure to bind their policies. Ensuring each client the best policy for their needs and trying to upscale them a bundle packages but also providing exceptional customer service. I was assigned a monthly quota and always exceeded it on a monthly basis.

In this position I was responsible in calling all lead prospects via the internet. It consisted of calling, following up and answering questions/concerns. Once I sold the insurance policy I than transferred the call to the sales team so the leads get bound. I also dealt with the companies that provided us the leads via the internet to give us the credit history to decider the bad leads.

I supervised a team of 12 employees. Responsibilities included training employees and ensuring that they were equipped with the necessary tools to do the job. Daily duties included managing my team, instructing them to set- up and park the package cars in their correct spot for the next operation and making sure that the work was completed within the time frame required. Also, I overlooked the employee’s timecard to verify that every employee was paid correctly. Furthermore, filled out “end of the day reports” and e-mailed them to upper management. I was also delegated the responsibility of overseeing all the supervisors that worked in my department, making sure they had properly signed the “walk back procedure sheet”.

I was in charge of the Air Department. Over five thousand packages came through my area. My duties consisted of training and making sure my team was up to date with their certifications to work in the air department. It was my responsibility to make sure that all packages were scanned and loaded correctly in the air container. Every night we had deadlines to meet with the Airport, and under my supervision we were successful in meeting them all.
