- Modernized the staffing and support model for several IT services organizations. Worked with key executives, the board, and interested parties on the successful execution of the plan.- Led multiple large scale M&A Technical Due Diligence (TDD) projects for US and international based investment banking and technology companies, enabling the transactions to successfully materialize. - Responsible for the global strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations for network/voice services, collaboration, business hosting, end-user computing, mobile device integration, Office 365, SharePoint, identify management, SAP basis and development, cybersecurity, and IT service management for over 1,500 locations. Led a global team of over 750 members with responsibility for a $200M+ budget.- Led the IT workstreams related to 4 major mergers/divestitures including a spin-off of 40% of the business which created two separate and fully functional IT organizations within 8 months. This project included 62 individual workstreams driving 100,000 users, 1,000+ applications, 2,000+ servers, 4,000+ mobile devices, and 235 network/175 voice site migrations. Effectively standing up an entirely new infrastructure with service contracts and operational support fully in place in less than one year. - Drove a global IT service management initiative enabling full product service catalog, incident, change and problem management and significant workflow automation which greatly reduced the speed/cost of service delivery.

- Responsible for architecture, engineering, and operations for 8 global enterprise data centers including 9,000+ servers and 10 petabytes of storage as well as disaster recovery, demand management, SAP basis and development, and capacity management. - Conceived and implemented a comprehensive multiyear data center strategy with the primary goal of consolidating the global footprint to one pair of metro-clustered data centers. This strategy laid the ground work for a large enterprise ERP system that mandated 100% availability. The designed infrastructure was fully operational within 5 months of initiative launch including documenting requirements, soliciting providers, RFP process, vendor/site selection, contract negotiation/execution, equipment design/selection (converged design), fully operational deployment, and production ready. - Drove enhancements in IT service management (ITSM) including the full deployment of Microsoft’s System Center configuration and operations management platform which enabled service full automation. - Created a staggered storage strategy shortening the refresh cycles for key system components that reduced the storage expenditure by nearly 20% annually. This was a key component to a major service cost reduction that passed nearly 20% savings across most major IT service components directly to the business. Another key element of these savings was the increase in server and storage virtualization (95%).- Implemented new services including Microsoft Azure Hosting integration, Oracle as a Platform database service, self-service Microsoft SQL deployment, and operationalized over 12 functions to the eastern European operations center.- Led the design and implementation efforts in several rapidly developing areas including HANA, big data, Hadoop, and BI. Created a fully operational enterprise-class Hadoop clustered service.

- Responsible for architecture, engineering and operations for 5 global data centers including 8,500+ servers and 8 petabytes of storage. Directed a global team of over 200 members.- Developed and executed a hosting transformation initiative that significantly changed the hosting service landscape at Johnson Controls driving well over $10M of annual savings and dramatically improved service levels, shortened speed to deliver services, and began the JCI self-service/automation revolution. Some of the key transformation components included: driving server virtualization from 30% to over 85%, fully deploying VMWare site recovery manager enabling near 100% server availability, driving the full virtualization of the storage environment, transitioning and closing a QA/Development data center, negotiating a $10M EMC software ELA, and deploying several areas of full automation to drive efficiency and operating cost reduction.- Drove the messaging and collaboration initiative to replace Lotus Notes with Microsoft’s Office 365 and SharePoint suite. Full transformation in just over 12 months.- Consolidated IT service management efforts to drive the implementation of an accurate and automated CMDB for all hosting related services and components.
