I worked on computational projects studying brain physiology of patients with treatment-resistant depression via fMRI. I wrote image processing pipelines in Matlab which led to new insights in group classification, and automated experiments with Python, which standardized the data and prevented human errors.

Managed several Linux servers, including a 12-node Beowulf compute cluster, web server, and network storage array, and trained users to run their analyses in parallel.Designed and built new lab webpage using custom Javascript.

Worked under supervision of Dr. Zhi-Hong Mao to develop a system for detecting eye saccades and blinks through a wearable EEG headset to create an eye-tracking keyboard, which allows paraplegic patients to communicate using regular consumer devices. Independently developed support vector machine in Matlab Simulink , for saccade direction recognition. Publication submitted to IEEE Workshop.
