We listened and worked with client agencies to understand their needs, build products that matter, help maximize the State investment in information technology, and bring business value from the portfolio of products we manage.I developed the OIT Division of Product Management to deliver value to client agencies and to fill the gap between the purchase of technology and the release and delivery. This helped to ensure that information technology purchased by the State of Alabama did not sit idle on the shelf and was utilized to best serve the market requirements and agency business needs. I provided the business strategy and management for enterprise services that reached as many as 150 state agencies. Our contracts are statewide and often include options for local government. When considering the viability of our products services needed to provide a cost advantage to the agency and cover our cost of operations. I increased the program revenue 1200% over three years by diversifying and providing services at cost though planned budgeting and cost allocation. I supported multiple lines of business: Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Automation, and Collaboration. Products in my portfolio included: Adobe, Laserfiche, Microsoft 365, Agate Intelligrants, Gartner, Info-Tech Research, Mind Manager, solutions for electronic signature, and professional services for implementation. The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is a group responsible for operation of the 400 policy series: IT Project Governance. "To maximize the return on IT investments by monitoring and minimizing risks, facilitating interagency goals, and ensuring interoperability and strategic alignment." Our team also provides project management services for internal projects and helps deliver solutions to client agencies in the State of Alabama.

ISD-Geospatial Office provides geospatial services to the state. I implement and provide solutions for state agencies and coordinate GIS for my office on behalf of the state for a more effective, sustainable, and efficient GIS infrastructure.

As President of GISCI the Board of Directors established the examination component of the GISP Certification. GISCI also enhanced the GISP application process with the launch of a new online application process which will replace the lengthy paper application process. GILS joined the GISCI as a member organization and with help of all Member Organizations we advanced GISCI into the next generation of certified GIS Professionals.

During 2012 - 2014 I represented GISCI member organization as a Delegate of COGO. In 2014, I was nominated by GISCI and approved as Chair-Elect. January 1, 2015 I assumed the office of Chair.
