I character designed, wrote and directed my first animated short Geisha L.O.V.E. thanks to a grant from the Royal Film Commission. My 9 minute short wouldn't have been possible without the wonderful talents at Beelabsme (Tamer Al Qarrain & Zaidoun Karadsheh - both acted as producers on my film) and Nadine Toukan, who was the producer on my film. I started out with The Star Weekly before I eventually started writing for a number of magazines in Amman, Jordan. I am currently the writer of On Campus' cinema page (Cutting Celluloid) and Go Magazine's Go Culture and Local Scenes. My work at Mlabbas was mainly designing wicked t-shirts that appealed to the masses through humor and visual art. I also helped Mlabbas pool artistic talents who contributed to t-shirt designs. Another aspect of my work was to come up with visual/artistic solutions to the 28 Rainbow St. store and City Mall Kiosk, the latter a feat that I achieved through collage. I am in charge of comprehensive database management and communication with Ikbis users and channel owners. Two years ago I created an online comedy show specially tailored for Ikbis comedy show Ground Zero. As creative content manager I also produce content and videos that are a blend of creative writing, satire and serious journalism.At Ikbis I am able to put my writing and communication & PR skills, in addition to journalistic and comedic experience to good use.

I am the writer, penciler and inker of The Dark Side of the Spoon, a comic strip, that I created a year ago. The Dark Side of the Spoon gets published in U Men Magazine. I write, pencil and ink the comic before I send it to my friend and fellow artist, Waleed Quttieneh, who digitally colors it.After 11 years of not drawing I decided it was time to create my own comic strip.

The Star Weekly Newspaper is a Jordanian newspaper affiliated with Addustour. I covered feature stories (social, art, medical, political and local). Wrote approximately 3-4 stories per week when not overworked. I also wrote a movie column entitled, Cinerama, in which I reviewed classic and modern movies.

WAW al Balad is a Jordanian bilingual (Arabic and English) mini-cultural-guide-cum-magazine. In addition to creating its main page elements as managing editor I also wrote its entire English section stories and compiled the agenda (both sections: English and Arabic).

I worked as voice over artist and scriptwriter for a series entitled The Bu Khashims in which I voiced three characters: Komar, Ma3ma3 and Grandfather. I then did voice over work for a stop motion animation called Hazaz.
