I currently serve as the Director of Operations for Innovative Weather at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. My role is essentially to ensure the "sustainability of the win" as we like to say it. My role, therefore, entails anything from recruitment and retention, training and mentoring, marketing and storytelling and to help with anything that threatens the sustainability of our student outcomes.Innovative Weather is a 24/7 weather operation that serves media and partners in the service and utility industry needs on a subscription basis. We offering highly customized forecast and risk assessment services to public companies, while employing Senior and Graduate level students to gain direct hands on experience in the field of operational meteorology while also learning the key soft skills required to increase the potential for our students to gain employment in the competitive field of meteorology.We work with clients and provide customized weather forecasting for every business we work with.
