Developed the Linx Trading System, an anonymous, confidential, electronic block-trading platform for the NYSE stock exchange. Helped translate business concepts into systems specifications, hired development, product and QA staff, aided in architecture and design, and managed system engineering and vendor selection.

Designed and built the Primex Trading System, an auction market within the NASDAQ dealer spread. The system was designed to handle the entire order flow of the NASDAQ market. Primex went live as a facility of the NASDAQ in 2001 and executed billions of shares over 3 years.• Led team of 6 developers designing Primex to be scalable, highly available, and secure, and to handle up to 1.2 million Orders/day, 1300 transactions/peak second and up to 80,000 messages/peak second.• Developed approximately 10,000 lines of code out of a total ~120,000 for the entire system.
