I have spent over 20 years developing my leadership, managerial, and technical skills. During this time I have committed my time to 4 businesses, 1 bachelor's, 1 master of science, and 1 MBA. As the Sr. Director of IT at Los Robles Hospital (381-bed level 2 trauma center), it is my responsibility to ensure the hospital's technology supports the clinical team's efforts to provide unparalleled patient care. I do this by setting the IT strategy and roadmap, annual budgeting and planning, project and operational management, and team leadership. My team is responsible for all hospital technology including network and infrastructure, clinical systems, vendor systems, security, education, and help desk. As the chief operating officer for Grand Welcome, I was responsible for business acquisition and integration, revenue and expense management, operations management, cultural development, and information technology. My efforts and the efforts of my teams resulted in increased revenue and net income, standardized processes and procedures, scalable eCommerce and business technology, and a high functioning business culture. At Joerns Healthcare I lead their technology as the organization grew from a regional durable medical equipment supplier to a private equity-backed international manufacturer and supplier. My team was responsible for network design and implementation, data center migrations, contact center implementation and support, SAP CRM and ECC implementation and support, and global helpdesk. The technology implemented by my team successfully supported the business through multiple growth phases.
