I started Red Cap Marine & Salvage LLC which provides the same marine services to my customers, just under a different company name.Red Cap Marine provides various marine & scuba diving-related services around Lake Champlain & nearby waters including towing, inspection, maintenance & salvage. RCM maintains moorings for many individual residential customers, as well as for several marina mooring fields, & also provides some hydroelectric dam services.

Along with news, tutorials & hardware/software reviews, we also ran the plugins/skins section for WinAMP, the most widely-used MP3 player.Serving that amount of bandwidth in the late 90's cost a LOT, & internet advertising wasn't quite there yet. I eventually shut the site down because of operating costs & my lack of interest in competing with the VC-funded site MP3.com.
