In October 2024, at the age of 54 I decided to retire after 34 years in Financial Services, the last 25 years as a financial markets professional working with Large Corporate, University & Social Housing clients.My natural strengths are being inquisitive, supportive and a challenging strategic thinker. As such, I have always been passionate about being true, relevant, and insightful – be it leading the North Regional Financial Market Team, the UK Head of Higher Education, in thousands of client meetings across multiple sectors, the hundreds of multimillion pound derivative market transactions or during new & restructuring client debt funding deals for Public Bonds, Private Placements, and the Bank funding market.Not one to be idle, I am currently an elected Board Member & Chair at my local Golf Club. Being financially challenged with an historic unhealthy culture, I have wasted no time introducing a corporate financial control mindset, along with a whole new committee-based governance structure that empowers more member engagement, complete transparency, and a voice for all.
