I lead a team of engineers who develop and run cutting edge and top rated emerging payment solutions used by millions of customers everyday, that drive billions of dollars of spend for the business. Where we design and develop innovative solutions which push the firm and the industry forward to change banking for good. I am responsible for Capital One's strategy and execution of AI technologies and tools to drive Developer Experience and Efficiency.

I lead KPMG’s Sales Engineering / Innovation Solution factory.  We help the firm and our customers re-imagine how modern digital and AI technology can transform their customers and employees digital experiences.  I lead a team of designers, developers, and architects to develop prototypes and demo experiences which drive innovation and business expansion. These solutions range from re-imagining the customer experience in retail banking and financial services to changing the patient experience and access to care and beyond. Our work has been showcased at conferences around the world including Google Next, HIMS, and ServiceNow Knowledge.

I lead KPMG’s Modern Delivery solution.  Modern Delivery brings together DevOps (process, tools, and automation), Agile, cloud transformation, lean budgeting and portfolio management, product/agile organization design, and product management alongside the firm’s capabilities in design thinking, cloud native development, cyber, risk, IT audit, and culture / organizational change. I help customers transform their organization and delivery capabilities to: act like a software company, think like a startup, and behave like a well governed enterprise.  I am responsible for driving sales, delivery, scale, and solution development.

I lead a team of software developers, cloud architects, designers, and strategists who delivered a wide array of work such as: mobile applications for the lending industry, innovation efforts for a life sciences organization, a first in class use of machine learning to automate and improve customer service, and establish a cloud migration path for a large accreditation association.  I helped contribute to the establishment of the firm’s Google Alliance. As digital enablement CTO, I worked across the group to set strategic technology direction, tools and process selection, alignment of diverse capabilities, align digital culture throughout the organization, and the build out of new skills and global delivery capabilities across levels to improve scale and profitability.

I helped lead and establish KPMG’s digital and mobile capabilities post acquisition.  As a result KPMG was able to retain a large amount of Cynergy resources, capabilities, and processes while working to infuse digital culture into the firm.  I worked as a technical architect across both KPMG’s Gears of War companion experience for Microsoft as well as the build out of the innovative NBA Game Scheduling system ( https://basketball-datascience.com/2017/08/21/how-the-nba-uses-analytics-to-create-an-efficient-schedule-that-features-1230-games-in-169-days/ ).

In addition to continued architecture, client, and strategic responsibilities, I managed  a team of principal architects. In this role, I also led a team who researched, designed, built, and released a product ( for what we would now call DesignOps) that integrated designer developer workflow.  This product would later go on to be released as KPMG Cycle, a tool for design collaboration and customer journey mapping. I also was a lead for the acquisition of Cynergy into KPMG. In this capacity my responsibilities included: due diligence activities, negotiation support, technical integration discussions, transition and integration planning, and identifying and retaining key assets.

As a technical lead and principal Architect at Cynergy, I was responsible for team leadership and project execution.  I was promoted to Principal Architect in 2009 where I also became responsible for our patterns and practices as well as strategic technology decisions of the group which grew to around 80+ developers and technical leads. In this capacity, I was also responsible for the technical execution of high profile projects and  creation of frameworks, tools, and accelerators. I was responsible for common tooling development and helping drive the best practices, methods, and tools from project execution into insourced commons.
