Mike works out of the Sydney EY Office as the Managing Partner of EY Asia-Pacific Assurance. He brings to the role a wealth of knowledge gained from a lengthy and successful career in Audit which started in 1990 in London before moving to Sydney in 1998. Mike made Partner in 2000. As well as serving a range of clients, Mike has performed a number of leadership roles including NSW Assurance Managing Partner in 2008 to 2013, Oceania Assurance Managing Partner from 2013 – 2018 and Deputy Managing Partner of EY Asia-Pacific Assurance from 2018 – 2020.Throughout his career, Mike has worked with a number of EY’s largest clients, in a range of industries, particularly focusing on media and consumer products with a large portfolio of multi-national corporations and ASX listed companies. This has provided Mike with opportunities to work on major transactions, coordinate global audits and build relationships with senior executive management and Boards of Directors.Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as supporting and participating in a wide range of sports and would consider himself a sports tragic.
