I have enjoyed a wonderful career in a variety of sectors and have had the immense privilege of working with many talented people and in some terrific organisations. I have learned and gained from every career experience.I would love to deploy my skills and experience in a senior part-time financial / managerial role. • I was approached by a former business contact to job-share the principal financial position.• The role included specialisms such as client accounts, anti-money laundering, IT, acquisitions and pensions. My employer was an LLP involved in agriculture, property and planning.• The role was more compliance-based than expected and became steadily more so. I resigned pre-Covid and departed at the end of May, 2020.

• A business contact asked for my input - a fabulous and valuable local charity, using a prominent venue in Norwich city centre to support youth-based community work.• It was a part-time role, principally accounting, cash flow and strategy.• The charity's business management was always challenging but there were encouraging signs of significant business improvement when the Covid lockdown destroyed its main sources of venue income, resulting in closure.

• Metacor was a growing company providing chargeable expertise in corrosion planning and management to major energy companies worldwide.• I was approached to run the finance function with a view to achieving a company sale within the medium-term; a sale to a major US concern was successfully achieved, after just two years in February 2012.• I stayed on for six months post-sale, securing sale proceeds and running down a local operation.

• A fascinating role in so many respects and not without challenge. I was recruited as Holkham’s first-ever Finance Director, reporting directly to the family. Effectively, they lived over the shop, albeit a large, unusual and complicated shop!• Holkham Estate turned over in excess of £18M and was owned by Lord Leicester and his family.
