In 2006 Mike Zhu started a company called OTTIC based in Beijing, China that planned and organized customized travels from China to Europe until April 2008. In 2008 a pilot of an online food ordering system in Beijing was launched. Although the customer reaction was positive, the provider side proved too difficult at the time to successfully raise funding to increase business and the plug was pulled by the end of the year.In 2007 Mike started working on a collaboration tool supporting team-related meetings and brainstorm-sessions. Which resulted in the founding of TeamSupport Creating Together B.V. with 2 partners in 2009In 2011 TeamSupport also launched RISKID on www.riskid.nl in the Netherlands to support Risk Assessment sessions by providing a tool for identifying and evaluation of risks. Furthermore it can be used to monitor risks and measures during execution of the project. This tool is currently being used in large (international) infrastructure projects by world renown engineering companies, Dutch hospitals, international operating transportation companies and the largest health insurance company in the Netherlands.With its multi-language support, TeamSupport is now looking to expand this business abroad.In 2013 and 2015 RISKID has been a sponsor of the winning Nuna 7 and 8 World Solar Challenge Team of the Delft University of TechnologyIn 2015 RISKID joins the Dutch Prime Minister's trade mission to China, and signs first MOU with a Chinese construction/engineering company. Also I set up a development center in Wuxi, China2016 will see the evolution of the RISKID Essential tool and it's new incarnation.Mike is interested in all aspects of entrepreneurship, risk management and project management.
