I’m Mikey! I am 28 years old and from the UK. I spent most of my early and mid 20’s living and travelling around Australia and New Zealand. Working for companies such as the national broadband network in Australia and Dexion storage solutions in New Zealand. My background is mostly in construction/project management within these two roles. My most recent job role on moving back to the UK was as a beer dispense technician for Camden Town brewery in London. I am currently living in Sri Lanka and have been since November 2021. I will be here until April 2022 at which point I will be moving back to the UK to live in Cornwall for the summer months but am open to any opportunities that may come my way! I would love to work within the travel/tourism industry and utilise my skills to help others plan trips around the world and help people to see what they can achieve by seeing the world. Me and my partner have our own sustainable, ethically sourced Crystal business. We buy and sell ethically sourced statement piece crystals from around the world.In 2019, me and my partner walked across Sri Lanka for charity covering 325 miles (523 KM’s). Raising money and awareness for men’s mental health charities, Campaign against living miserably in the UK and lifeline in Australia and New Zealand. So we are currently back here doing some volunteer work over here in Sri Lanka for a UK based charity called TravelTeer. I am doing marine and wildlife conservation. One of my hobbies is diving, I completed an 8 week dive master course in the Philippines when I was travelling over there in 2018.
