Operations Manager for Simmons Bars.

• Actively seek out and program a balanced events calendar with both corporate and music events across the group. • Development, production and delivery of events from proposal right up to delivery• Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish• Coordinate appointments and scheduling of events on the calendar• Excellent organisation skills and experience with project management• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments • Plan events within tight time restraints, designated budget parameters• Write and issue contracts, invoices and venue breakdowns• Organise event logistics and preparation (including all of the rider distribution, technical equipment hire, delivery times and security)• Arranging and scheduling resident DJ’s• Sourcing new DJ's and promoters • Yearly Music reviews for each venues • Creating and building In House nights• Organising music playlist at multiple venues.• Book accommodation and travel arrangements. • Manage event enquiry viewings and recess• Write and submit temporary event notices• Organise online ticket sales for in-house events and external shows• Plan for up and coming events in the local area to maximise sales• Upload event listings to the venue websites• Oversee all the social media post and paid social media campaigns.• Manage event advertising plans and online event marketing including of e-shots, e-flyers and web posts• Assist the operations manager to ensure the venues operate to there full capacity

My responsibilities: • Daily management setup• Opening & closing of the venue• Staff Rota’s and weekly payroll• Daily safe checks, cash handling and banking• In charge of 8 tills and colleagues per shift• Stock auditing• Identifying opportunities to up sell.• Responsible for Fire and H&S compliance • Assist sales team with table reservations and festive company parties• Work long and flexible hours in a pressured bar environment• Setup of resident Dj’s• Arrange security and advise on health and safety issues• Maintaining team morale and a high level of customer service
