I am the co-owner of Mindmaps Wellbeing with @TimLloyd, where we provide mental wellbeing training and support. Tim is a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) since 2000 worked for the NHS for 18 years, and was looking for a new approach, something more proactive to prevent mental health crisis. Having known Tim for 20 years a close friend, I was keen to get involved and support the project, especially having experienced mental ill health myself. I believe, if we're all honest, it's something that affects us all at some point. Just like, we will all experience being mentally healthy, joyous, and well. Unlike Tim, I am not an RMN, I have worked in Sales & Operations since leaving college in 1997 and will draw on this experience to support the growth of Mindmaps Wellbeing.At Mindmaps Wellbeing, we educate to understand mental health and wellbeing. To see the positive side to mental health, the term itself is often seen as negative and carries stigma. Learn to spot the signs of mental ill health, and know where to signpost for support. In addition to Tim, we have four additional instructors, all are Registered Mental Health Clinicians with years of experience and knowledge to share. Winning many awards including the fastest selling outlet across Europe and installs of the year. I'm usually known as Mikey, married since 2009 and have two teenage daughters. To relax, I love to get out on my Kayak and explore the Torbay coastline and local rivers. Those that know me will also tell you I’m a huge Arsenal fan and love football. Over the years I've worked in hospitality, recruitment, financial services, fire & flood restorations, and as mentioned Riviera/Hydropool.
