- Built in Next.js - Integrated intersection observers to initiate Framer-Motion animations- Applied Framer-Motion animations API I challenged myself to build my portfolio using new technologies such as Next.js, intersection observer API and Framer-Motion and I had a blast. Currently compatible with desktop 16inch full-screen and some mobile devices. Work in progress.

- Built the user page interface which displayed up to 5 vertical carousels representing created, purchased, favorited, in progress and completed patterns.- Created optimized experience for new and existing users integrating backend Authentication service and ContextAPI to conditionally render logged in and non-logged in landing pages.- Increased API performance by debouncing client interactions on frequently used elements.- Dynamically rendered pop-up modal at desired location based on click event clientX and clientY and factoring in scrolling offset.

I love to cook so I created a simple application in less than 2 days where I can easily search for recipes and save them on a cookbook. But! Let's be honest some days you just want to treat yourself to a nice meal so I created a second search option for restaurants in SF :)- Integrated Yelp API and Spoonacular Api- Navigation Bar using React-Router-Dom for single page rendering- Mongoose and MongoDB to store recipes- Styled-Components for design- Implemented pop-up modals to display restaurant and recipe details- Restaurant photo carousel with dot navigation.

- Scaled and designed multi-layer backend system from 500 to 4,000 rps for 1 min or 0 - 10,000 rps for 20 seconds using load balancing through NGINX with 0% error.- Optimized query design in SQL via joins and subqueries to reduce database response time from 30ms to 4ms.- Containerized services with Docker to deploy server and database across multiple AWS ec2 micro instances.- Performed ETL using Node.js, javascript and MySql to validate and load over 60 million rows of CSV data.

- Architected a React front-end service supported by a RESTful API back-end, implementing three photo carousels and pop-up modal.- Created seamless user experience through dynamic client-side routing using React Router that empowered users to browse through all retail items served by product API server- Wrote and performed tests using Enzyme and Jest- Designed with styled-components, key-frames, and media queries.- Implemented scroll animations with useLayoutEffect, useRef and JavaScript- Dynamically rendered star rating from backend Reviews API- Dynamically rendered carousel buttons on screen resizing- Created navigation bar that allows users to quickly traverse collections. Tracks scrollLeft position and updates css when using carousel buttons.- Implemented server-side caching and client side local storage to allow clients to save and retain outfits added to their collection.
