With proven success in Service Management working across the largest non-Metropolitan Police Force in the country, in a technically diverse arena, I am particularly adept at “keeping the lights on”. With fifteen years’ experience working in ICT from mobile engineer to system administrator and latterly Service Delivery Manager, my portfolio was very broad supporting all aspects of the organisation. Currently I provide expert support (2nd & 3rd line) and mange a diverse IT estate in the busy clinical and research department in the Oxford Centre for Magnetic Resonance Research within the Medical Science Division of Oxford University based at the John Radcliffe Hospital.I quickly build relationships with end users, in-house analysts and engineers, and suppliers and use that skill to bring people together. I try to make complex scenarios simple – with simplicity solutions become more apparent and can be implemented more efficiently. Working collaboratively is the most efficient way to get best value for the organisation and the customer. I am an advocate for ITIL and believe in Lean Process and process management – Poor processes make Staff Poor.
