Work with Forescout clients for post-deployment project adoption.

Consulted with clients from various industries (e.g. Banks, Law, Insurance, Entertainment, etc.) ranging from a few hundred to tens of thousands of corporate managed devices. This includes: net-new deployments, managing pre-existing infrastructure, rebuilding deprecated systems, pre/post-sales, scoping, documentation, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

• Responsible for pioneering the planning, configuration, implementation, and support of a new, “network access control” (NAC) product, Forescout. This was in response to the need for a greater security footprint within the Johns Hopkins Health Services organization.• Main point of contact between Forescout, IT@JH Enterprise Services, Community Hospitals, JHU, and all departments contained within (e.g. Clinical Engineering, LAN Admins, Desktop Support, etc.). Also managed the communication, coordination, go-live scheduling, project flow, quality assurance, documentation, and education of each clinical site before, during, and after product implementation.• Primary duties include: Managing Forescout NAC configurations interfacing with Cisco devices (wireless LAN controllers, AP's, core routers, distribution switches, etc.), Palo Alto NGFW, Gigamon (SPAN, packet brokers, traffic aggregators), F5-LTM (virtual IP's, load-balancing, fail-over/fail-open), RADIUS/EAP-TLS/802.1X/CoA/VLAN Quarantine, and Splunk (Authentication & SysLog management).

• Responsible for high-level technical changes and projects that affect Bayview Medical Center, including: Hospital wide hardware deployment/support, specialized departmental software, network/domain configuration changes, and end-user service.• Collaborate with corporate vendors such as GE, Philips, and Dell as a technical project manager along with medical department managers/directors on specialized software deployments. Manage internal projects within the Desktop/LAN groups such as migrating the wireless network to a new subnet and DNS controller (Infoblox), deploying mobile device management services (AirWatch), and delegating/supervising/assisting with colleagues in Tier 1 & Tier 2 support.• Created multiple scripting templates and group policy objects that were implemented Bayview wide and are used daily for domain configurations or reporting. Their success led to certain GPO's being adopted by the Directory Services group and are now used as enterprise solutions across all of Johns Hopkins.

• Remotely managed 21 physical and 30 virtual servers to include daily log checks, snapshot/backup rotations, monthly maintenance, and patching to current DoD/STIG/DISA requirements. Also supported two “test environments” that mirrored our production servers and were used for initial software loading/testing.• Active directory management across three baselines with over 4000 objects that interact with third-party software over multiple sites nationally/internationally. Also worked closely with database administrators to manage SQL/Oracle databases.• Supporting/troubleshooting COTS and proprietary software with little or no documentation. Hotfixes were released for testing and evaluation on a continuous basis to support Lockheed and DoD requirements as new iterations of the F-35 aircraft underwent testing in a 24/7/365 mission critical regiment.

• Worked with Quantum3D’s “Independence” image generators (IG’s) hardware and software to test/troubleshoot customer problems, as well as quality assurance testing.• Supported current and future customers with IG’s by testing visual databases in Quantum3D’s proprietary graphical engine to ensure a bug free visual simulation product.• Knowledgeable with widely used simulation industry applications such as: MultiGen-Paradigm Creator, Adobe Photoshop 7+, 3DS Max, Marathon, and Mantis. Also very interested in learning and supporting other applications like Terrex/Terra Vista, ESRI ArcView, and any others necessary.

• Consulted with and helped clients design networking needs for business environments.• Built, maintained, and repaired WAN/LAN for businesses of all sizes and professions (banks/hospitals/law firms).• Provided client support for Windows Servers, SQL, Citrix, and end user PC’s.

• Deployed and administered multiple large-scale networks worldwide to support military operations.• Heavy focus on network design/implementation using a high-end Cisco infrastructure (enterprise level equipment).• Managed Top Secret SIPRNet information and routing under DoD rules and regulations.
