I am a highly experienced and strongly motivated LAMP/LEMP stack developer at the mid-level looking to grow into a senior role. My core skillset is working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter to build websites from the ground up. Currently this involves maintaining a leading US job sites backend code that utilises a range of different technologies from message queues and workers to APIs that are used by the mobile app and partners that integrate with it.I started off as a Junior PHP developer in the online retail industry where I attained the fundamental knowledge and further nurtured and refined my design skills. My role at then transitioned into an IT Support position, as I was uniquely placed within my skillset and knowledge to bring value to the company. I’ve continued to use PHP, for example through writing a library to support SMS text alerts.
