TTL is the nexus point for transformative technology for the academic, industry, and public sectors. The lab serves as a cross-roads for these groups, and as the central gathering point for community to stimulate development of scalable transformative technologies. The lab hosts an open 'maker type' space for furthering the development of transformative technologies, as well as numerous events (including: consciousness hacking meetups, workshops, conferences, and other public and private events). For industry, the lab provides research and development services, training, and go to market evaluations in the transformative technology space. Academically, the lab conducts and publishes research in the area of transformative technology, provides research services to industry, advises Sofia University on the curriculum for their Transformative Technology degree programs, and mentors and supervises graduate students.

The Center for the Study of Non-Symbolic Consciousness is dedicated to academic/scientific inquiry into non-symbolic perception and cognition. Broadly speaking, non-symbolic consciousness includes the following concepts, and several others: Nondual awareness, Enlightenment, Mystical experiences, Peak and Plateau experiences, Samadhi, Satori, Silence beyond sound, Unity consciousness, Transcendental experiences, Cosmic Consciousness, Numinous experiences, Deautomatization, Flow experience, The peace of God which passeth all understanding, Shamanic ecstasy, Unitive experiences, and many more...My role included research into the neural-correlates of non-symbolic consciousness and the various technologies capable of catalyzing that experience.

Researching the role of technology in influencing human well-being. Considerable time was spent exploring the neural correlates of profound states of well-being often associated with long-term meditators. Primarily the research focused on the various technologies capable of modulating brain activity in order to facilitate these experiences.

Multi-Disciplinary Project Lead Developed multiple technologies from conception to prototype. Process in- cluded extensive coordination with biochemists, functional/mechanical de- sign, Solidworks modeling, complete in-house prototyping (manual & CNC machines), embedded/high-level software, testing, and documentation. Novel designs were included in preliminary patent application.
