Mikey Brooks holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental environmental Science science from theThe University of Oregon. During his time at the UO, he developed his knowledge in environmental topics and participated in the 2020 Environmental Leadership Program where he helped write a research report on the current and predicted impacts of climate change in Oregon.He currently works as Forest Park Conservancy's Communications Coordinator where he helps manage the organization's outgoing communications, whether that be on social media, the organization's newsletter, or creating article for FPC's blog.When not hard at work advocating for the environment, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, cooking, and playing tabletop games with his friends.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake.
