Hi, I am the founder of Go Burrito, a hip, popular, and profitable chain of fast casual burrito restaurants and RumBar concept. We are headquartered in Salisbury, North Carolina and expanding into Tennessee and Florida, and are looking for passionate, qualified, fun, profit-minded franchisees all over this great country. My passionate team is part of Go Ventures, Inc., the franchising parent company for Go Burrito, which focuses on support, marketing, and incorporating tech into an already successful concept.On the volunteer front, I'm very engaged with my local community to promote entrepreneurship, working with local schools, colleges, and various business organizations. I'm a public speaker, board member, head several committees, launched meetup groups, and provide mentorship related to video game development, AR/VR, careers in software development, small business, marketing, business skills, and entrepreneurship. I'm the President of the Rowan IDEA Center, a non-profit incubation hub being started in Rowan County, NC. I'm active (as board member and on committees) with Downtown Salisbury, Inc, a non-profit supporting historic downtown Salisbury, NC. I grew up in the Silicon Valley programming computers since age 11. I have a BS in Physics (from CSU Sacramento) and an MS in Computer Science (Cal Poly SLO). In 1996, I joined Microsoft's DirectX team, which became the Xbox. For 16 years, I was prominent in the industry as a 3D graphics programmer for AAA Xbox titles.A dream of lakefront living brought me to High Rock Lake, near Salisbury, NC in 2008. In 2013, I opened Go Burrito and later, Go Ventures, Inc. to franchise the successful restaurant. To support Go Burrito, I developed a considerable amount of restaurant operational software, and am considering creating an additional company to bring the software to market.In my spare time, I enjoy technology on all fronts, and am an active tinkering with C#, VR, Hololens, Arduino, IoT, and web programming. On the personal front, I enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, "OneWheel", tennis, travel, fitness, and woodworking (CNC).
