School Crossing Supervisors (/Guard) operate as part of the Community Safety Team of the Council. The role revolves around the safety of school children and pedestrians as a whole. Their role is to assist pedestrians to cross safely by stopping traffic and ensuring that all the pedestrians are in a safe position on the other side of the cross-roads before allowing the traffic to continue to flow through the crossing.

As Vice President of Events, I successfully organized and executed seven events throughout the year, achieving over 750+ signups and maintaining an impressive average Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 8.7 across all events, highlighting high attendee satisfaction. Our signature event, the "Changemakers Academy", was held in both Semester 1 and 2, and involved paid partnerships with international companies and local NGOs in Melbourne. These organizations returned to collaborate on future events, establishing long-term relationships and bolstering our event’s credibility.In terms of team leadership, I managed a team of seven in Semester 1, expanding to two teams with a total of 18 members in Semester 2. I held regular meetings with each team member based on a schedule we agreed upon, ensuring consistent communication and alignment on our goals. I also implemented a structured personal development goal plan, tracking each member’s growth and supporting them in reaching their objectives.In addition to event organization, I participated in community engagement through the Food Hero program, where I led workshops on Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) for primary and high school students. To maintain alignment with broader objectives, I attended bi-weekly meetings with the national Events function head and participated in weekly meetings with the committee (President and other Vice Presidents). I also met weekly with the membership board, consisting of team leaders and committee members, to ensure we were making progress on the goals we set at the start of our term. This role allowed me to foster a strong, goal-oriented team culture while expanding our organization’s impact and partnerships.

AIESEC is a non-profit organization, where my role revolves around EwA (The AIESEC Experience). I help those who wish to improve on their leadership abilities, soft and hard skills and develop into a person that they wish to become.

As the Organizing Committee President (OCP) for Changemakers Academy, I led the creation of a signature event that established itself as a staple at our university, designed to be held every semester moving forward. This involved holding weekly meetings to monitor event progress, address challenges, and ensure all organizational aspects were on track. I worked closely with the organizing committee, supporting team members in achieving their goals and ensuring tasks were completed on time.A key part of my role was partnership development, where I conducted meetings with companies and potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities. These efforts resulted in valuable partnerships that elevated the event’s impact, and I maintained ongoing communication with these partners even after the event to foster lasting relationships for future initiatives. I also collaborated with other functions to enhance the event experience and regularly updated the committee on our progress, ensuring transparency and alignment with our goals.In addition to planning and coordinating, I took on the role of Master of Ceremonies (MC), engaging the audience and facilitating smooth transitions throughout the program. This role allowed me to establish a meaningful and sustainable initiative, create strong partnerships, and build an engaged and collaborative team, leaving a lasting impact on the university community.

I collaborated closely with the Events function to design and implement events that would build both hard and soft skills for the mentees, ensuring alignment with their development objectives.A key part of my responsibilities also included engaging with the wider community to promote our initiatives. I visited primary and high schools across Greater Melbourne and the western suburbs to educate students on Sustainable Development Goal 12, focusing on responsible consumption and production. Additionally, I organized informational stalls, contacted numerous university lecturers and professors, and, with permission, spoke at the beginning of their lectures to highlight the benefits of joining our committee and participating in our events. This outreach not only promoted our mission but also helped build a stronger, more engaged community around our goals.

Joined the Unit as a Cadet Recruit then was promoted to Cadet, to which I was then promoted to Cadet Lance Corporal before I left.
