The Deployment Technician will provide phone and onsite product support for Taxi Credit Card equipment, and any other products as assigned. Perform thorough onsite troubleshooting and installation training to clients. Position will require an 2/3 weeks of travel a month and after hours phone support.• Solves complex and broad reaching problems • Answers customer requests to assist with Product Support related inquiries • Assists customers with product installation and training • Follows documentation and training materials to diagnose and resolve customer issues • Create/update documentation after resolution of issues • Provides Technical Support to customers for operational and maintenance aspects of products • Researches and resolves customer issues • Serves as customer contact for technical and service related problems • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures or by creating new means of addressing customer technical issues • Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime • Develops and maintains positive customer relations • Coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner • Demonstrates technical leadership • Mentoring and/or training of junior engineers • Works independently • Performs other related duties as assigned • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work within a team environment. • Self-motivated, and possess a high level of personal accountability • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Technical leadership skills. • Requires 75% or greater travel.

Nyc

· Perform daily preventive maintenance on company’s machines used by the clients.· Responsible for collection and recordkeeping of revenue at various client’s locations.· Management on a continuous basis of replaceable parts inventory for different types of machines· Installation of various entertainment equipment such as digital jukeboxes and their sound systems.· Working closely with the customer by customizing machines per customer needs.· Work closely with team members in prioritizing calls and other assignments to increase efficiency and productivity.

· Drive to customer sites within NYC and connect Xerox machines to be utilized on their network.· Responsible for installing and troubleshooting print/scan/fax issues in a LAN/WAN environment, mainly with Microsoft Office applications on location.· Train users to use new applications related to installed equipment.· Successful completion of Xerox System Analyst training, Leesburg, VA.
