Protein Biochemistry and Vaccine Development

- Cell-free expression of tumor-associated proteins;- Development of antibody-based systems for the qualitative and quantitative determination of tumor-associated proteins in serum and tissue samples;

- Research in a field of recombinant proteins (e.g. rhIFNa2b, rhGCS-F, r-tPA, rhFVIII) production for therapeutic applications;- R&D in a field of vaccines preparations (with the special focus on TBEV);- Viral safety of blood-derived biologicals (e.g. IVIG and fVIII-vWF);

- Cell-free production of membrane proteins (GPCR, ion channels, bacterial membrane transporters) and peptide toxins;- Purification (FPLC, HPLC) and functional characterization of target proteins by biochemical and biophysical methods (ls-NMR, SPR, ITC, pull-down assay);- Structural investigations on membrane proteins by NMR and X-ray crystallography.

- Construction of mammalian cell-based systems for expressing heterologous genes into design protein (mainly antibody) producer cell lines of biomedical interest;- Development of the new methodical approaches for development of vaccines against viral diseases;
