I'm responsible for tax matters arising in the course of establishing a new international financial services group, including Russian banks, Cypriot regulated broker-dealer, Cypriot issuer of structured products, UK regulated investment company and Cypriot holding entity.

I managed a team of three tax specialists and fulfilled the role of Taxation Business Partner, providing the group’s business areas with taxation advice, guidance and support. The Group's geography included the UK, Russia, Cyprus, Cayman Islands, Luxembourg.

As Tax Accountant I was responsible for undertaking tax accounting activities, calculation and justification of arm's length prices under transfer pricing legislation and performing tax analysis in relation to international taxation projects impacting upon FATCA, CRS and BEPS.

As a Senior Tax Consultant I had exposure to a wide-range of financial industry clients and advised and/or participated in numerous tax audits, tax projects and tax due diligence of financial companies and M&A deals. These covered leading Russian and foreign banks, insurance and leasing companies, real estate companies and pension funds.
