As a solicitor in the trade marks team, I help clients secure trade marks and related IP rights domestically and overseas.

At IPONZ, I assisted applicants with their trade marks, raised and maintained objections via legal arguments, and examined files for evidence of use.Towards the end of my time at IPONZ, I also assisted with compiling a knowledge resource for the greater trade marks team and was part of the Senior Examiner development pathway.

Using my eye for detail, marked diagnostic scripts for school children following the company’s IP, helping equip children with the necessary skills for excellent academic writing.Occasionally collaborated with the Lead Content Creator and used my attention to detail and creativity to produce assignment tasks for the children’s online learning tool used across the world.Frequently assisted the Marketing department with recording-keeping and administrative tasks.

Assisted a barrister representing over 20 families with researching and drafting legal submissions for the March 15 Coronial Inquiry.
