Beamline Scientist and member of the Spectroscopy Group, part of X-ray Science Division at Advanced Photon Source. Duties include maintenance and User support at several beamlines at Advanced Photon Source, spectrometer development and research utilizing X-ray spectroscopy techniques.

Visiting student on Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Fellowship, Department of Energy, Office of Science. Working on development of an X-ray Emission Spectrometer for Synchrotron Generated High Energy X-Rays. Spectrometer is meant for various X-Ray Emission Spectroscopy (XES) experiments, such as Resonant Inelastic X-Ray Spectroscopy (RIXS) and High Energy Resolved Fluorescence Detected X-Ray Emission (HERFD-XES). It is built utilizing 3D printing methods, and is meant for easy manufacture at any High-Flux XES capable beam-line.

Graduate Researcher working on studies of Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF), and MOF-derived materials. Utilizing conventional spectroscopy methods (Raman, IR, UV-Vis) as well as synchrotron Generated X-Rays at various facilities, such as Advanced Photons Source - Argonne National Labs (APS), National Synchrotron Light Source II - Brookhaven National Labs (NSLSII), Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source - Cornell University (CHESS) and Stanford Synchrotrol Radiation Light Source- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SSRL).

As a TA, assisted various professors in instructing variety of courses, including 1st/2nd year chemistry for Life Science majors as well as Physical Science majors, as well as Laboratory courses and Physical Science courses.
