These resulted in reduced marginal toil associated with maintaining multiple regions. Examples include:* Finishing migration to 100% containers for all services, resulting in a consistent deployment story* Converting all services to use externalized configuration via environment variables and a secret store* Introducing language-independent service discovery* Increasing emphasis on repeatability by driving adoption of infrastructure as code

Led the initial development and launch of the New Relic Infrastructure product - a premium infrastructure monitoring offering with powerful extensibility and query flexibility.* Worked with PM and UX to design and scope a product that could be delivered on an aggressive timeline* Managed core backend and frontend development teams* Worked with teams across SF, Portland, Seattle, and Barcelona offices to develop a strong initial product offering - a polished, capable UI; a low-overhead, extensible collection agent; a suite of integrations to pull in additional data from cloud providers.* Helped the team evaluate tradeoffs of developing one-off solutions to achieve our timelines versus waiting for platform capabilities to advance. Worked with platform teams to ensure reasonable merge paths in the future in cases where we couldn’t wait.
