I'm a Sophomore attending Mount Saint Joseph University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.8.My patience and dedication stem from my love for playing the piano. Throughout high school, I have always had a passion for playing the piano with high hopes of one day playing as well as popular pianists. This dream and mindset have led me to the World of Accounting. Surprisingly, much like playing the piano, Accounting too requires patience, dedication, and attention to detail to fully grasp! I've completed a tax simulation where I prepared client tax returns, calculated book-to-tax differences (BTDs) and taxable income and wrote a summary of findings for a client. After completing this simulation, my love for accounting grew even more. I had the opportunity to explore a real-life example of how Accounting is and the tasks we are responsible for, and this only fueled my eagerness to continue pursuing my career in this field.
