I took active part in several outsourcing projects for the large investment bank. Two of them were proof-of-concept with strict deadlines and I was responsible for both back-end and front-end development. Additionally I led SVN-to-Git migration for our team, wrote technical design documentation and performed Java mentorship for my colleagues. Our team was distributed across USA and Europe locations.I have used Java8 as my main language, Maven for dependency management, GWT/GWTP for UI development, Gin/Guice for dependency injection, Jersey for REST, Jackson for serialization, Akka for actors model and clustering, Guava for boilerplate removal, SLF4J/Logback for logging, Tomcat and Weblogic as application servers, Oracle Database as RDBMS, Confluence for team collaboration, Git and SVN for version control, Gerrit for code review, IntelliJ IDEA as main working tool.

I have participated in plugin development for IntelliJ IDEA platform. I was responsible for development of Amazon Web Services Elastic Beanstalk integration plugin and couple of other internal and not yet released projects. I have intensively used Java, IDEA platform API, AWS API, etc. Also I have been busy as technical writer for documentation and end-user technical support routines.

I was involved in single medium-size project connected with data processing. British gambling company used our java-based software to collect and classify odds for different kinds of sports. My responsibilities included Java programming (business logic implementation, web data scraping, development of the xml feeds parsers and administration utilities), Bash shell programming, remote Linux-based Hadoop cluster administration via ssh, maintenance of the running system and data quality control. We used such API’s as BetFair, MatchBet and BetDaq. I have used such technologies as GNU/Linux, Java SE, Ant, Eclipse, Jetty, GWT, EMF, Hadoop, HTML/XML, Saxon, Bash, SVN, XPath, RegExp, MySQL Workbench.

I was hired as off site consultant and application developer to implement GUI-based software for industrial automation equipment.The goal of this project was to build very specific jukebox with robotic arm CD-changer, vacuum tube-based audio amplifier, a mini-stage with lighting equipment and humanoid robot moving on the stage. I have designed Qt-based multithreaded controlling software with simple GUI.My responsibilities included IT consulting and development of crossplatform central control software with user interface. I was involved in low-tier embedded systems hardware and firmware development. We have used Atmel AVR and Microchip PIC and programmed them mostly in Assembly and C.I have worked with different kind of MCUs (ATtiny2313, ATmega8, ATmega32, PIC18F2550, PIC18F4620, etc.), sensors (temperature, light, current), I/O interfaces (USART, USB, IrDA, IEEE 802.15.4) and buses (I2C, SPI, MicroLAN).I have developed firmware code in Assembly and C with such tools as AVR-GCC, IAR Workbench and MPLAB.Also I was busy with schematic and PCB design, prototypes soldering and testing.
