• Provide consultation and solutions related to employee relations and performance management for over 1,700 employees, have successfully completed over 280 cases• Ensure compliance with federal, state and university laws and regulations regarding Human Resource activities by department policy review, consult closely with the Office of General Counsel • Draft and edit all notices of disciplinary action, and may be present in the delivery of the notice to the employee• Conduct pre-disciplinary conferences required to provide the employee the right to respond to allegations that could result in their termination• Work closely with the Absence Management team and the ADA Coordinator to ensure all laws are followed and employees receive the resources needed • Communicate effectively with a variety of customers from University administrators to entry level custodians, by providing strategic consultation and successful resolution to employment relations issues in a timely manner• Collaborate proficiently with leadership team members from various University departments to creatively streamline policies and processes which decreases risk• Supervise two HR Analysts, providing guidance, supporting professional development, assisting problem solving
