I am a recent graduate from Drury University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Writing, a minor in English, and a certificate in professional learning. My main purpose throughout my four years of college and beyond has been to enrich myself through examining diverse perspectives and taking the opportunity to listen to others, so that everyone's voices and needs are addressed. In my future career, I seek to implement these values to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, is granted equal opportunities. My goal is to pursue a career in higher education, nonprofit work, or writing that involves intellectual creativity while making a difference.Throughout my college career, I was involved in multiple employment opportunities and student organizations. Whether through working in the registrar's office, residence life, or tutoring, I have acquired ample technology experience, interpersonal skills, and leadership development: skills that will not only contribute to a successful work ethic, but will allow me to continue my love for learning and inspiring people. While my passion for storytelling exists, I also want to encourage others to write their happy endings – no matter the length of each preceding chapter.
