Managed the digital marketing group, responsible for driving online sales of the company’s brands, introducing novel scientific, data-driven methodologies for optimization of online marketing.

Managed the system engineering and technology group. Responsible for design and system-wide view (chemistry, physics, mechanics, software, electronics) of digitally printing ceramic inks on glass.- Established the group, its charter and areas of activity. Introduced research, development, anddocumentation methodologies.- Initiated roadmap for process improvements: evaluation of new print-heads, methodology of inkevaluation, introducing subsystems for control and feedback of critical process parameters.- Achieved 100% increase of printer throughput.

Continuing with a core-team from Xjet-Solar (see below), managed a project and team developing anovel metallization process for solar cells.

Managed an R&D team developing materials and process for crystalline silicon solar cells electrical contacts deposition via inkjet. Led joint R&D activities with world leading solar cell manufacturers and research institutes:– Implemented process at customers' sites (China, Germany). – Achieved record solar cell efficiencies and cost reduction for customers. – Handled technical communications with customers.– Co-authored papers in refereed journals and conferences. Led project and successfully resolved problems with the company's pick & place robot design in order to meet its accuracy and speed specs. Developed the robot's micro-controller software. Developed major parts in the company's new 3D printing print engine software (translating 3D model to synchronized motor movements and printed data).

Designed and developed a novel inkjet deposition process of crystalline silicon solar cells electrical contacts. System engineering: defined specifications for chemistry, software, electronics and mechanics teams in order to reach printer and process required performance specs, including choosing suitable technologies in critical early stages of development: inkjet heads, ink materials. Authored or co-authored six patents (and applications). Set up the company's solar cell and printing process characterization lab. Developed novel in-house research and characterization tools, including their mechanical design, operating software and algorithms.Designed and implemented an SQL printer performance database which logged printer parameters, subsequently data-mined for printing process improvements.
