In my every day work I try to incorporate what I've learned as an engineer and apply it to solving IT issues - never jump in head first, never rely on "that's probably going to work", always inspect the underlaying "foundation", always have a roll back plan, and above all never implement new complex systems not needed by the costumer.Over the years I've gone from a secondary IT supporter to senior consultant specialising in Microsoft Server 2003/2008/2012 (Active Directory) and Exchange 2007/2010/2013.Virtualisation has become a large part of my work.Working with IT from the hypervisor to the primary server application gives an insight allows me to influence, run and troubleshoot all aspects of the IT landscape.Over the years, I've worked with products from a number of vendors, and I take pride in knowing learning their particulars both in the classroom and getting real life experience.
