Working with a team of highly skilled colleagues from around the World to build Saxo Bank's next generation data warehouse.Based on Snowflake, running on Azure, sourced through Kafka and developed using Docker, Airflow, Python and Azure DevOps this will be the data warehouse that allows for massive scale in data storage and query performance while servicing our customers within Saxo Bank as well as external partners and financial authorities.Responsibilities:To drive the development of the data delivery platform, by- performing high level planning with PM and Head of DWH- defining and scoping user stories for the backlog- prioritizing the backlog- ensuring that all architectural decisions are vetted and logged in an easy accessible format- contributing to lifting the entire DWH team on to the new platform- co-authoring operational model for the Snowflake platform, to enable other teams to deploy data assetsEnsure that the data platform is in line with Saxo Bank's strategy.Maintain relationship with and understand needs from stakeholders thoughout the bank.Mandate:Final saying on all architectural decisions in the project, this includes, but is not limited to:- data platform- data modelling principles- programming languages and toolsInitiate POCs and technical spikes to clarify requirements, mitigate risk and identify technical possibilities and limitations.Reach out to stakeholders for alignment and relationship management.
